My mum bought 2 more packets of Oreo today, as a present for getting over Biology. She was from Arts stream back in the 1970s, so perhaps she didn't learn that:
When blood glucose level is high, insulin secreted by islet cells in the pancreas stimulates liver cells and muscle cells to break down glucose during respiration and convert glucose to glycogen to be stored in the liver, and ADIPOSE TISSUE TO CONVERT EXCESS GLUCOSE TO FAT!!!!
So now I know where the Oreos went.
Bio was okay. Didn't do my best, some crap flew out of my brain last minute, but overall okay. Hope the experiment hits the spot!!!!
